Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion Arrive in Beta
Claude has two new features in beta as of today: Dashboards, which turns your own data into live charts, and Motion, which turns your reports into short animated clips.
Both are early, so expect rough edges. But one of them shows you the query behind every chart, and the other lets you edit the words and numbers directly instead of waiting on a render.

What Happened
Claude Dashboards works by connecting a data platform or a CRM tool, then asking a question in plain language. Claude writes the query itself and builds the dashboard on top of it. The dashboard updates as your data changes, and every chart displays the query it came from.
Claude Motion takes reports, charts, or product walkthroughs and turns them into short animations. Claude writes each animation as code rather than running it through a video model, which means you can change any word, number, or timing in the output. When it looks right, you export an MP4.
Why It Matters
The query behind each chart is the part worth noticing. You can check Claude's work rather than trusting a number you did not compute yourself, and that is a real difference from most no-code dashboard tools.
Motion's code-based approach matters for the same reason. Editing a figure or a line of text does not mean regenerating a clip and hoping it comes back the same. You change the thing you want changed.
Both features are in beta today, so the details and limits are likely to shift as they roll out.
