Who writes here, what happens to a share between "Post it" and going live, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Shares publish under the member who wrote them — name, handle, profile, and the rest of their work, one click away. That is the default and it is not something you have to switch on.
Anonymous posting stays available, because some things are worth saying that you'd rather not attach your name to. When it's used, the share says Anonymousplainly — we never invent a byline, and we never attach a real person's name to words they didn't write.
Every submission is screened automatically for spam and link abuse, and scored for quality. Anything below the bar — and everything from a first-time author — waits in a queue for a human to read it rather than publishing straight through.
The screening is deliberately tuned to be annoying in one direction only: it would rather hold a good post for an hour than let a bad one through in a second.
If a share tells you to sign up somewhere, install something, or claim an offer, it should link to the place it means. Working links are a requirement here, not a nicety — a how-to with no way to follow through is just a description.
Shortened links get resolved to where they actually go before they publish, so you can see your destination. Affiliate links are stripped. We do not add URLs that weren't in the author's original.
We sell sponsored placements, and we say so on the placement. Paid links carryrel="sponsored"and the post is labelled. What you cannot buy is a mention inside somebody else's share, a rating, or a place in Trending — those follow members, not invoices. See Sponsored Posts for what is actually on sale.
Found something wrong? Tell us at support@revesery.com or leave a comment on the share. Factual errors get fixed on the page. Anything that changes the meaning of a post gets a note saying what changed — we correct in the open rather than editing quietly, because a silent edit is indistinguishable from never having been wrong.
A share that turns out to be wrong at its core comes down, and the reason replaces it. Members can also flag a tool or method that has stopped working, which is recorded on the share itself.
