Request a tool

Can't find what you need on the shelf? Tell us what to build. We read every one.

Tool request
Not sure how to word it? Start from one of these:

Sign in to send it — requests are tied to an account so we can follow up. Your draft stays right here.

How requests work

  1. Tell us what's missing

One line on the tool and one on what it should do. The more specific, the easier it is to say yes.

  2. We check if it's doable

Some sites hand their media over cleanly; others don't. We look before we promise anything.

  3. It shows up in Tools

If it gets built it lands on the /tools shelf like the rest — free, three uses a day, no account needed.

Before you send one

Will you build everything people ask for?
No, and we'd rather say that up front. Some sites lock their media behind checks we can't clear, and some ideas are one person's edge case. Requests that keep coming up are the ones that get built first.
Why do I have to sign in to send one?
You can write the whole thing signed out — the sign-in only happens at Send, and your draft survives it. We ask because an open box fills with junk in a day, and a request with no account behind it is one we can never follow up on.
How will I know if it happens?
The status next to your request moves as we work through it, and anything that ships lands on the Tools page.
Can I request a change to a tool that already exists?
Yes — name the tool and say what's off. A fix to something we already run is usually faster than a whole new build.
