How to Claim a Free .BOND or .CYOU Domain

Want a domain for a project you have not started yet? NicNames is handing out .BOND or .CYOU domains free for the first year, and you do not need a credit card to claim one.

The whole thing runs through the NicNames Discord. You get full DNS control, so the domain can point at Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, or a server of your own — and the bill stays at $0 for that first year.

What You Need

• An email address you can open, for the signup and the OTP code.
• A Discord account, so you can join the NicNames server.

Tutorial

1. Sign up at https://nicnames.com/en. This is the official NicNames site, and it is where the domain and the coupon both live.
2. Verify your email and fill in your profile. The account has to be complete before the Discord bot will check it.
3. Join the official NicNames Discord at https://discord.gg/nicnames. The promotion is run inside the server, not on the website.
4. Finish verification in the #verify channel, then open #promotions. You need the verify step done before the promotions channel is useful to you.
5. Type /promos and verify your NicNames email with the OTP code it sends. That code is what ties your Discord account to your NicNames account.
6. Pick an available .BOND or .CYOU name showing 100% off for the first year, then copy the Coupon ID. The coupon is the piece you carry back to the site.
7. Search for that same domain on NicNames and add it to your cart. It has to be a domain that qualifies for the promo.
8. Enter the coupon, check the total reads $0, and finish the registration. If the total is not zero, stop there before you pay anything.

Wrapping Up

You now have a domain with full DNS control for a year, at no cost, and you can point it at Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, or your own server. Claim it while the promo is still in the server, and read the total on the checkout page before you confirm — the free year is the point of the whole exercise.
