Archify Turns Your Codebase Into an Interactive Map
Reading a codebase you have never touched is slow work. Archify turns it into a map you can click through instead, and you can start from a single sentence if there is no repo yet.
It is open source under the MIT license, and it runs on top of the coding agent you already have open.

What Happened
Archify takes one sentence, a plan, or an entire repository and turns it into an interactive HTML experience. You feed it the idea or the code, and it builds a page you can actually explore rather than a wall of text.
What the page does:
- Maps entire systems, so components, dependencies, workflows, and architecture are visible at once.
- Traces a path through the system and highlights exactly how a request flows.
- Takes follow-up questions in conversation, like adding authentication or highlighting a cache-miss path, and redraws the diagram from your answer.
- Turns those answers into explainers, with conclusions, charts, tables, steps, diagrams, and numbered source citations on one page.
- Explores interactively: click nodes, inspect relationships, follow upstream and downstream dependencies, and switch visual themes.
It works with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, and OpenCode. You do not need a repository to begin. Describe an idea and the agent can build a visual explanation of it from scratch.
When you are done, you export a standalone HTML file that keeps its interactions, plus images and PDF-ready output you can hand to someone else.
Why It Matters
The shift here is from an AI that explains a system in paragraphs to one that builds something you can walk around inside. If you have ever tried to hold a dependency graph in your head while reading a diff, a clickable map is a different job entirely, and the PDF and image exports mean it doubles as a document for people who will never open the tool.
The post pointed to a repository but no working address came through, so search for Archify to find the source.
