How to Build Your Own Peripherals for Muse

Got an ESP32 board and an idea for a gadget? Muse Gadgets is an open source ESP32 firmware plus a Linux SDK, made for building hardware devices that work with Muse.

Both halves are open source, so you can read and change them yourself. All you need to get moving is an API token from the project's own site and the coding agent you already use.

How to Build Your Own Peripherals for Muse

What You Need

  • A coding agent you already use.

Tutorial

  1. Grab an API token from https://gadgets.muse.ai/.
  2. Point your coding agent at the Muse Gadgets GitHub repo. That is the firmware and SDK the agent works from to build your own peripherals for Muse.

Wrapping Up

That is the whole setup: a token from https://gadgets.muse.ai/ and an agent pointed at the repo. From there the ESP32 firmware and the Linux SDK are yours to build with, and anything you make can work with Muse.
