Earshot v0.3 Ships 201 Code-Generated Sound Effects

You can nail every keyframe and still watch the whole thing fall flat the second it plays out loud. The click, the collision, the whoosh between scenes — that is what sells the timing, and it is usually the part we leave for last. Earshot v0.3 is built around exactly that gap.

It brings 201 built-in sound effects, all generated by code, and it can pin one to an exact frame so it lands with the motion instead of a beat after it.

Earshot v0.3 Ships 201 Code-Generated Sound Effects

What Happened

Earshot v0.3 is out, and the numbers are the interesting part: 201 built-in sound effects, every one of them generated entirely by code. From there you can generate a full sound pack in a single click.

The detail that matters for motion work is frame accuracy. An effect can be pinpointed to a specific frame, so the sound syncs with the animation instead of being nudged into place by ear afterward.

It is also integrated into the Cinetic motion design Skill now, so the sound side sits with the animation work.

Why It Matters

Sound is not a finishing touch. A flashy animation with nothing behind it on the audio side drops a whole level of quality right away, and the perfectly timed clicks, collisions, and transitions are practically the soul of the piece.

AI has spent a while making animation prettier and prettier. The open question has been the sound. Code-generated effects that snap to a frame are one answer, and it puts precision back in your hands rather than leaving it to guesswork.

Wrapping Up

Pricing and a download link were not part of what was shared here, so the next move is to track down Earshot v0.3 and run a pack against a short clip of your own. If you already work in Cinetic, it is in reach. Watch how much one well-timed click changes the read of a cut.
