See Your Desil Group on Indonesia's BPS Form
Curious whether your household sits at the top or bottom of Indonesia's economic scale? The official BPS form gives you the answer in minutes.
It uses the desil system — ten equal groups running from the poorest 10% to the wealthiest 10% of households.

What Happened
BPS (Badan Pusat Statistik) built a simple form that checks your desil group. Desil is the statistical term for splitting sorted data into ten equal parts. In Indonesia's social and policy context, those ten parts rank household welfare from the lowest 10% to the highest 10%. The underlying data comes from the official DTSEN (Data Tunggal Sosial dan Ekonomi Nasional).

Why It Matters
Desil isn't just a number for statisticians. The government uses these ten groups in social and economic policy decisions, so your result reflects where you sit on the official welfare scale. Knowing it gives you a clearer view of how government programs see your household.
