A2A joined the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) as a hosted project. The foundation wants an open, neutral stack without vendor lock-in for real-world agentic problems. A2A v1.0 ships with 25K GitHub stars and six SDKs: Python, Go, Java, JS, .NET, and Rust. You can also use it with Fan-Out Architecture to scale your agents more efficiently.

Why It Matters

A2A is making the case that there is a real interoperability gap that other protocols cannot fully solve. If you are choosing an agent-to-agent protocol, this is worth watching closely.
